Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is the Twin Cities' only casino hotel and the largest casino in the Midwest. Founded by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community in 1992 – 10 years after opening the Little Six Bingo Palace – Mystic Lake helped transform an economically distressed reservation into one of the most successful Indian tribes in the United States.
