Tournament participants and spectators must be 18 years
of age or older. Participants must be present to win.

Mystic Lake’s Rock the Lake Guitar Hero III ™ Tournament
is free to play and open to Club Mystic members. Club membership
is free.

A maximum capacity of 2,500 contestants may participate
in the tournament.

At 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., numbers will be distributed to
all tournament contestants.
-
At 7:30 a.m., if tournament capacity is exceeded, a random
number will be drawn from all numbers distributed.
-
At 8:00 a.m., the tournament spots will be filled sequentially
based on the number drawn until the 2,500 tournament spots
are filled.
-
The intention to become a tournament contestant does not
guarantee a spot in the tournament.

Contestants must wear headphones provided by Mystic Lake
while playing in the Qualifying and Quarterfinal Round.

Contestants must use all tournament equipment provided by
Mystic Lake to participate. No outside guitars or any other
equipment is allowed in the tournament.

Contestants may sit or stand while playing in the tournament.

Guests are prohibited from using Guitar Hero III Legends
of Rock ™ cheats during tournament play.

Qualifying and Quarterfinal Rounds will be played on medium
difficulty level. Semifinal Rounds and the Final Round will
be played on hard difficulty level.

All songs during Qualifying, Quarterfinal and Semifinal
Rounds will be chosen at random by Rock the Lake staff.

The Grand Prize winner will be determined by best of three
songs; each player will pick one song, and the third song will
be chosen at random by Rock the Lake staff.

Guests who do not advance to the next round cannot play
in the tournament again unless they are drawn in the Semifinal
Wild Card drawing. At 6:00 p.m., one Semifinal Wild Card player
will be drawn from all guests who did not advance to Semifinal
Round A.

For the Semifinal Wild Card drawing, the player’s
name will be announced via casino-wide microphone and on select
closed-circuit televisions.

Names will be announced in gaming areas only. Announcements
cannot be heard in the restrooms, food outlets or hotel. The
winner’s names will be shown on the monitors throughout
the casino and on the screens in bingo.

Players must exercise reasonable conduct while playing.
No swearing, damaging equipment, etc. will be tolerated. Players
will be given one verbal warning and disqualified from the
tournament on the second violation. No prize money will be
paid to disqualified guests.

Costumes and are strongly encouraged but must be worn in
proper conduct. Mystic Lake management reserves the right to
prohibit any costumes or apparel deemed improper in appearance
(i.e. revealing, obscene/offensive language, etc.). Masks are
allowed only in the Mystic Showroom and are prohibited on the
casino floor.

Best dressed costume prizes will be awarded before the Final
Round in the Mystic Showroom.

Scores are based on Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock ™ game
calculations. Tournament officials have no access to adjust
any game or score.

At the conclusion of each round, each guest’s score
will be recorded. It is the player’s responsibility to
wait at their station and verify their score with tournament
officials. No changes will be made after the fact.

If a tie occurs, the names of the tied contestants will
be entered into a random drawing.

Restarts are prohibited unless a participant’s machine
experiences a major mechanical malfunction during session
play, they will be re-assigned to play in the next round.
The score from the malfunctioning machine will not be recorded.

No alternates will be accepted to play on a contestant’s
behalf.

Following completion of Quarterfinal Round play, the top
non-advancing scores will be posted by 6:00 p.m. outside the
Grand Ballroom. Winners must claim their prize by 8:00 p.m.
outside the Grand Ballroom on the day of the tournament. Failure
to do so will result in a forfeiture of prize.

Following completion of Final Round play, all non-advancing
Semifinal Round A, Semifinal Round B, Second Place and First
Place contestants will be awarded their prizes in the Mystic
Showroom.

Winners must have a valid driver’s license or state-issued
photo ID and social security number to win cash and prizes.

All winners of $25 or more must complete a miscellaneous
prize claim form.

The winners shall be solely responsible for federal, state
and local taxes.

Any dispute or situation not covered by the above rules
will be resolved by Mystic Lake Casino Hotel management in
a manner deemed by them to be the fairest to all concerned,
and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all contestants.

SMSC members, SMSC Gaming Enterprise employees and their
immediate families (i.e. any person residing in the household
of the aforementioned) and employees of Mystic Lake’s
advertising, printing, and publicity agencies are prohibited
from participating in this promotion.
Mystic Lake Casino Hotel management reserves the right to alter,
amend or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice.
All decisions of management are final.
